We have the following vacancies:

1. Compliance Manager Responsible for managing the operations of the organization in accordance with the Service Description and agreed targets. Translating the strategy to action plans and giving inputs to strategic target setting.

KRAs

a) deliver local accounting & reporting including Tax compliance with high quality according to Local regulations.

b) Management of accounting functions including payroll and statutory audits

c) Governance for regional accounting standards and requirements, indirect taxes and corporate income tax

d) Ensure technical quality and support of accounting function in the region Management of business support regarding accounting.

e) Management of tax compliance in relation to indirect taxes, WHT and corporate income tax including support of tax audits

f) Governance for indirect taxes (publishing of guidelines, circulars and instructions) and corporate income tax

g) Ensure technical quality and support tax risk management
h) Management of business support regarding taxes
i) Supporting auditors for both group as well as local statutory audits SOX compliance
j) Management of open items related to accounting
k) Contribute efficiently for efficient processes and in particular continuous improvement

Job Description

a) Responsibility for accounting and reporting. Support for tax and statutory audits and other related tasks for countries in APAC region

b) Responsibility for indirect taxation, WHT and corporate income tax from a governance perspective for APAC

c) Compliance of tax processes (improvement and development)

d) Review of tax returns and for tax registrations abroad

e) Partner for questions and issues arising from projects or daily business concerning accounting and tax compliance

f) Management of identification and evaluation of risks, reporting of identified and evaluated risks

g) Continuously monitor performance measures, proposing and implementing process improvement to increase process consistency, quality, efficiency and effectiveness.

h) Ensure visibility of the service organization's performance.

i) Manage and contributes to mitigation of risk

j) Efficiently manage resources in own team: Ensure proper skill sets & organizational setup in own responsibility area. Set-up targets, allocate work within the team, and evaluate performance. Manage budget for own area of responsibility.

k) Lead and coach people: Set performance measurement goals of direct reports and makes performance evaluation periodically. Organize professional development of direct reports.

l) Identification and evaluation of risks/errors, reporting of identified and evaluated risks including preparation and circulation of MIS

m) Continuously monitors performance measures, proposing and implementing process improvement to increase process consistency, quality, efficiency and effectiveness.

n) Ensure visibility of the service organization's performance.

o) Contribute to mitigation of risk

 

Candidate Profile CA/CWA with 9-16 years experience in finance/accounting and tax function in an international organisation or one of the big 4. Experience in working for APAC countries interfacing with all functions including local management, tax authorities,auditors and Service providers. Good SAP skills, as well as sound MS Excel skills. Business competence and intercultural competence. Leadership and social competencies. Must have led a team

 

Accounting & Tax Experts

Relevant working knowledge and expereince of accounting & Tax Laws and regulations of one or more countries in APAC region.

Candidate Profile: CA/ICWA/Graduates with 5-8 years in Finance & Accounting in an international organisation or one of the big 4. Good SAP skills. Business competence financial, technical, internal controlling. Experience in working for APAC countries interfacing with all functions including local management, tax authorities,auditors and Service providers is desirable
